We get this question a LOT, and for good reason. You’re trying something new, and you want to see thicker hair!
It does vary, but most of our patients start to see results in 30 to 60 days.
Stopping and reversing hair loss takes time. As you may already know, hair loss is a slow process, with hair growing at about 1 centimeter per month. And the hair-growth life cycle is a long one as well – a hair follicle can be in its growth phase for anywhere from 2 to 7 years!
Our shampoo and conditioner go to work blocking DHT on your scalp RIGHT away. But the effects aren’t always obvious right away. If you now anything about the growing process (read about it here) you know that hair follicles go through a resting period periodically.
By reducing DHT at the scalp, our powerful ingredients are doing a few things for your hair: taking the breaks off the anagen phase of growth, shortening the “resting” phase of the hair-growth cycle, and re-activating dormant hair follicles.
These take time, however, and consistent use. That’s one thing we can’t stress enough – make sure you’re applying the shampoo and conditioner (or at least one) every single day. If you simply can’t keep that schedule, apply every other day at the very least. Using the solution every day, and consistently, is what keeps DHT out of the way, so you’re hair can get back to doing what it does best – growing!
We love the Shapiro MD solution because it’s so easy. Just put it in your shower and start using the shampoo and conditioner in place of you normal products. If you’re pressed for time, rub the shampoo into your hair about ten minutes before you even get in the shower (it helps to make your scalp wet first). Them, rinse in the shower, and apply the conditioner for the remainder of your shower.
It really is so simple.
We also encourage all of our patients to take a “Before” picture as soon as they receive our package. We want to see your results, and we want YOU to see your results. After 60 days, take another “After” shot and send them both our way. We think you’ll be thrilled with the thicker, fuller results you’re getting.
